Bhautik Ambani is the Chief Executive Officer of AlphaGrep Investment Managment Pvt Ltd. As CEO, he will be responsible for driving business growth, strengthening and expanding the firm’s domestic presence, and enhancing customer experience. Prior to joining AlphaGrep, Bhautik was the Executive Director at Avendus Capital Public Markets Alternate Strategies LLP. Being a founding member of the team, he was responsible for fund raising and strategy. At Avendus he was instrumental in growing the business to the largest onshore hedge funds in India. He was also associated with Ambit Capital, Kotak Wealth Management, and Mirae Asset, in various capacities and positions of leadership.
Praveen has more than 16 years of experience across quantitative trading, portfolio management and investment strategies across multiple asset classes. He started his career with Edelweiss Financial as part of the proprietary trading team where he helped setup and scale the quantitative trading desk, before transitioning to the investment management business, where he was co-managing a long-short category III AIF.At AlphaGrep IM, Praveen is responsible for the product and investment strategy and oversees risk and capital allocation.
