Kavita Pathak spearheads the business development and fundraising efforts for the AlphaGrep investment management team. She focuses on building strong relationships with partners and clients, providing comprehensive support for their journey with AlphaGrep. Before her role at AlphaGrep, Kavita led the business development team at HDFC Bank, where she specialized in meeting the custodian, banking, and treasury needs of foreign portfolio investors in India. With over 18+ years of experience in capital markets, she has held diverse roles, including heading the credit risk and product functions at Kotak Mahindra Investments Ltd (KMIL). She later also contributed to business development for domestic custody services and then went on to lead the sales efforts for custody services for offshore funds in the APAC region at Kotak. Kavita is a qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and continuously enhances her expertise through various certifications and courses in her field.

Shanto Ganguly works as a quant trader and researcher in Alphagrep Investment Management. He is responsible for researching new strategies and portfolio construiction. Prior to joining AlpahGrep he had stints in BlackRock and Morningstar working in risk management and quantitaive reasearch.

Piyush started his career at Accenture Digital as an analyst before moving to CRISIL, where he consulted for a leading U.S. asset management firm, publishing research on performance attribution and factor timing models. He applied advanced machine learning techniques to financial datasets and later contributed in designing multi-factor and smart beta indexes at Morningstar Indexes. With over 9 years of experience in portfolio construction and research, Piyush now serves as a fund manager at AlphaGrep IM, overseeing existing strategies and developing new ones

Ashwin is a Portfolio manager at Alphagrep Investment Management running diverse mandates across long-short and long-only portfolios. After graduating in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur in 2016, he began his career at Goldman Sachs in the strategies group. He then transitioned to Estee Advisors, managing the Long Only PMS, and later worked at Tara Capital Partners, managing systematic long-short portfolios across APAC. Ashwin has 4 publications in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings and is passionate about innovating with mathematics and technology to devise trading strategies.

Alok Rai is currently at the helm of the Operations vertical at AlphaGrep Investment Management Private Limited. His primary focus lies in overseeing operations, particularly in the areas of NAV accounting and taxation. Before his tenure at AlphaGrep, Alok served as a Manager at Avendus Capital Public Markets Alternate Strategies LLP, where he was an integral part of the operations team for one of India's largest and most prominent domestic AIF funds. Additionally, he has experience with Standard Chartered Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank, where he gained expertise in fund accounting. Alok holds a Master's degree in Commerce and a Bachelor's degree in Financial Markets from Mumbai University.

Ankit Parikh serves as the Head of Compliance at AlphaGrep Investment Management Pvt Ltd, where he leads the compliance team and oversees the establishment of robust compliance frameworks. With extensive expertise in managing complex regulatory requirements, He collaborates closely with regulatory authorities and conducts thorough assessments of various organizational risks. Prior to joining AlphaGrep, Ankit honed his skills at Helios Capital Management, SBI-SG Global Securities Services Pvt. Ltd., and SS&C GlobeOp (Global Fund Administrator), gaining valuable insights into the nuances of investment management and compliance. He is a qualified Company Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and holds a law degree from Mumbai University.

Amar Upadhayay an Execution Trader with AlphaGrep Investment Management this March. His early work career involved managing a few prominent firms such as Kotak's prop desk. He then moved on to working with Infina Finance (Kotak's Family Office) where he dedicated around 13 years of his work life. He was also associated with Anand Rathi Institutions.
